Along via Restelli, a 230-metre route leads visitors to the heart of NATIVITAS. Luminous sculptures, trees of light, monumental candles and Christmas scenery turn the street into a world to discover, step by step.

03 · LEDwall portal
Welcome to NATIVITAS.
Two thresholds of digital light announce the entrance.

Two LEDwall portals, as tall as a house, greet visitors with starry skies and falling snow: one in Piazzetta Galvani, the other on via Restelli, as you leave the Biblioteca degli Alberi, looking towards Gae Aulenti.

04 · Luminous parametric sculpture
NATIVITAS 8.0
A tree that rises from the earth like a vortex and climbs towards the light.

Aligned with the institutional entrance of Palazzo Lombardia, an imposing twelve-metre tree sculpture takes shape, where art, design and Christmas tradition meet. On a steel structure, panels of mirrored Dibond, in silver and gold, spiral upwards, multiplying into countless reflections the thousands of warm lights that bring out their forms.
A spectacular installation that becomes the symbol of NATIVITAS, a meeting point and an iconic place to capture in the heart of Milan.

The glass Cathedral, the heart of NATIVITAS.
A great winter garden, warm and full of light

A monumental greenhouse of glass and steel covering 550 m², with a parquet floor and heating for the winter. By day it is a winter garden; by night it becomes a cathedral of light, with a bistro, music, encounters and events.

At the entrance, the Welcome Experience: an elegant welcoming lounge with a café, the first space to greet visitors. At the far end of the hall, a great LEDwall frames a rich calendar of events: concerts, tastings, masterclasses, presentations, encounters and engaging experiences designed for audiences of all ages.

Piazza Città di Lombardia, the great covered square of Palazzo Lombardia, becomes a winter garden: a trail of light, two portals, a crystal greenhouse, the ice rink and a tree you can see from every entrance.
08 · The ice rink
The heart of Christmas in the piazza.

The ice rink, always the heart of Christmas in the piazza, with the skate exchange beside the greenhouse. The rink is open from 27 November 2026 to 14 February 2027, every day from 10am to 9pm; from December, on Fridays and Saturdays, you can skate until 11.30pm.
Hockey evenings and holidays have different hours: ask Marta.
09 · Belvedere · terrace on the 39th floor

Christmas Design Experience.

On the 39th floor of Palazzo Lombardia, the Belvedere becomes an experience devoted to a contemporary Christmas: a design installation inspired by the spirit of the season and an exclusive vantage point over the illuminated city.
The Belvedere is open to the public on 2 December from 6pm to 9pm, and on 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 19 and 20 December and 6 January from 10am to 6pm. Bookings on the Regione Lombardia portal.

Two fitted walls, 4 and 10 metres long: 14 linear metres for a brand showcase or a real shop. The first space that welcomes every visitor.
Presenting partner
At the entrance to the Cathedral, a circular 6-metre lounge with an iconic installation reinterpreted with the partner’s product: naming, bar, photo opportunity, private events.
8x4 LEDwall
Film and series launches, themed evenings with the brand, Sundays for children, presentations and live broadcasts in high definition.
Serra Michelangelo
A 13 × 8 m greenhouse with four Christmas-themed pop-up stores: fashion, home, beauty, taste. Up to 150 guests.
Piazzetta Galvani
The most photographed corner: an 8-metre tree that can be customised, the carousel, the Christmas chalet and the partner’s pop-up store.
