SYNTONY is the interactive light artwork by Adriano Lombardo for NATIVITAS · Christmas Winter Garden. In the square, from their phone and in ten languages, anyone can write a thought: it becomes a star on the great wall of light.
All winter long the sky grows, one thought at a time, and those who think the same thing find each other. Being in tune, on the same night.

How to take part
In the square you write from your own phone, in one of the ten languages: from 27 November 2026 your thought lights up on the wall. The thought is all it takes: no name or personal data is needed, and in fact they should not be written (no names, emails or numbers).
You can already try it from here: in the SYNTONY chapter of the 3D journey, write a thought and light your star. Your thought reaches our server: if it follows the rules, it lights up straight away in everyone's sky, without your name. How we handle the thoughts is explained in the privacy notice.

When and where
SYNTONY is one of the experiences of NATIVITAS · Christmas Winter Garden, the One Event Builders Christmas in the covered square of Palazzo Lombardia: alongside the Journey of light on via Restelli, the NATIVITAS 8.0 tree, the glass Cathedral with its bistro and the ice rink. It is the only one where the sky is written by the visitors.
SYNTONY is in Piazza Città di Lombardia, Milan, the covered square of Palazzo Lombardia, throughout NATIVITAS: it lights up at the opening night on 26 November 2026 and welcomes the public from 27 November 2026 to 10 January 2027, and continues with the Winter Experience until 14 February 2027, together with the Orangerie, the ice rink and hospitality.
